Catherine Fulton

Originally from South Africa, Catherine (she/her) has recently completed her Masters in Psychotherapy and Counselling, and a clinical training program in Play Therapy child-centred counselling. Catherine has developed sensitivity and understanding toward clients with a variety of mental health concerns within different social cultural contexts.  

Catherine prioritizes creating a safe space for clients to feel seen and heard. She is an experienced supporter of clients with disability and those who identify with LGBTQ+ and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities.

Services provided by Catherine may include the following:

  • General counselling,
  • psychoeducation,
  • play therapy and parenting supports,
  • trauma-informed care, 
  • emotional regulation.  

Catherine provides individual to small group sessions and has experience working across the life span from children to adults. 

Catherine is a Certified Practising Counsellor & member of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA); and a member of the Play Therapy Practitioner’s Association (PTPA).

She is working under supervision with Michelle Aniftos to meet eligibility as a Certified Clinical Counsellor.
